Japanese Stainless steel is the best steel grade as it is light weight, anti rusting, anti skin irritating & durable.

All tweezers are coated in a plasma matte black colour. Plasma coating (PVD) creates a hard coating that is extremely durable protecting the tweezers against wear, oxidation and corrosian which provides a far higher resistance to wear than paint colour coating which is used for many tweezers.
This colour will not discolour with use or due to sanitisation.
